She told him to bugger off, I hope.

You'd think in the oh-so-p.c. city of SF that even the lowliest of waiters would know that women have the right, by law, to breastfeed their children anywhere they damn well please!

It actually was overheard in Singapore.

I wrote about a breat-feeding incident that happened at our public pool. In New York State, breastfeeding (and topless bathing) are perfectly legal. Here is a link to my piece about the incident:

I hope the waiter was politely told to fuck off, tho in Singapore, anything goes.

It's amazing how a joke for some can touch a nerve for others. I proudly, but discreetly breast-fed my children. If I had to do it in public, I did--whether or not "outside food" was permitted.

I find it slightly amusing...although I did hope she told him to screw off or something of the sort.

Even though it's sad... (I breastfed two and a half years, and I've nursed in public. Hey, even at my job, at my desk, talking to my boss! I was more unnerved than he was. But anyway.

That was freakin' hilarious.

I don't think that his intentions were bad; maybe misplaced. and I believe he was only trying to make the woman feel confortable.

I'm ok with it as long as the have a blanket covering themselves up, I know this one lady who practically takes off her shirt for her child. Disgusting.
